Last week we celebrated the 2nd birthday of my friends’ twin girls. They are loving kitties right now and their mom wanted a vintage kitty feel for the party. I had so much fun designing the party décor. All of the vintage kitty printables are up in my shop ready to be customized for you!
The invitation turned out so cute!
Along with the invitation, I designed the usual printable décor – happy birthday banner, name banner, food tents, cupcake toppers, signs and more.
We decorated the dining area with lots of pink and blue. I made this fabric pennant banner with an adorable kitty fabric that you will see again in this post.
The table was dressed in pink topped with a vintage looking fabric and pretty tulips!
Yummy sandwiches for the kiddos!
And yummy sandwiches for the adults!
And of course cupcakes for all!
As the guests entered they were asked to grab some kitty ears and draw on kitty whiskers. Tutorial for the DIY Kitty ears coming soon!
Miss O happily posed for me! There were some pretty fun games for the kids to play too!
I brought along a pin the bow on the kitty game – I am kind of loving this party game – fun to customize and fun for the kids to play!
My friend let the kids jump on mattresses up in the twin’s room for some kitty pouncing. Of course they loved it! Here are my two having a blast! Recognize the owls on the wall? See more of the room HERE, back when it was the twin’s nursery!
Another super fun activity was the Kitty in a Tangle. The kids climbed through yarn strung along these gates in sort of a maze. So fun!
And finally my friends created the cutest photo op – with a kitty in the tree background attached to a kiddie slide. One of the birthday girls posed for me!
The kiddos each got to go home with these cute favor bags. I created the tags for each and made the adorable stuffed mice.
Here is a close up of one of the bags and mice. The party was a lot of fun and the twins were happy little 2 year olds!
