Spring is the season of renewal and a popular time of the year for weddings and bridal showers! Since I personally haven’t thrown a bridal shower in a long while (here is my little sister’s shower in 2013), I decided to search the web for some popular bridal shower ideas and share them with you!
The gorgeous Spring weather and blooming flowers make for an amazing setting for a Garden Bridal shower! Find a pretty outside setting, put cloth tablecloths on a few tables, dress them up with bouquets, and get ready to spoil the bride! I recently completed these beautiful floral invites for a bridal shower being held at a local winery! They are available in 2 colors in my shop!
Invite friends to bring a bottle of booze to stock the new couple’s bar! I found this fun idea for friends who imbibe on ModernMOH! Cocktail recipe cards to fill out for the bride and groom and mini booze bottles as favors would be fun and simple. Just make you’re your friends are game for all the alcohol!
Make the shower as sweet as the new couple’s love! Sweets or a candy-themed shower would be perfect. Jars full of candy for decoration and for noshing. Serve small bites of desserts so everyone can get a taste of everything. I did something similar for my daughter’s princess birthday party, and it was so much fun!
I have the cutest sweets themed party set that can easily be tweaked for a bridal shower! Check it out here.
Throw her a final fiesta! Well, not really – but this is a cute idea! Cactus and SW décor is popular and so fun. Put up a colorful background and decorations, and fabulous food! Who doesn’t love tacos and margaritas! I created this custom invitation for a bridal shower with a fiesta/taco theme!
Feeling fancy – go for a Gatsby-style bridal shower. Have guests dress up in flapper dresses and serve classic Prohibition cocktails. These fun Gatsby-style signs would be great party décor along with black and gold decorations! This could be a fun co-ed shower theme as well, with the men dressed up all dapper-like!
Hope these bridal shower ideas give you some inspiration the next time you are asked to spoil a bride!
