My baby boy turns 3 TODAY!!! Wow! We are having a Monster Truck birthday party for him this weekend but I wanted to share the outfit I made him for his big party day!
I found the awesome monster truck knit fabric from a seller on Etsy. I wanted to make something cozy but a little different than a standard t-shirt. So I used the Boardwalk Henley & Hoodie pattern from Peekaboo Pattern Shop.
The red knit for the top portion of the shirt brings out the red on the monster truck knit. I also used my new KAM snaps on this shirt – so quick!
For the pants, I used my current pants pattern fave – Made by Rae’s Parsley Pants pattern. The diamond plate fabric is so awesome! I found it on fabric.com – it’s part of the Ruff and Tuff collection from Robert Kaufman. It’s totally awesome!
I chose to add a pocket to the pants – it blends but is cute! That’s what I love about this pants pattern. It’s quick and easy but you can spice it up with little touches! He is going to be monster truck cool at his party! Pics of the party to come next week! Happy 3rd Birthday my not so baby boy!
