She has 2 boys 18 and 17 and a daughter 12 and is an incredible pastor at her church in Vancouver, WA.
Welcome to Cado’s Bookstore!
Cado loves used bookstores and with the quarantine he hasn’t been able to do any pursuing – so his parents decided to set up a bookstore just for him! A few weeks before his birthday weekend, a request went out to family and friends for book donations. And boy did they deliver!!
So many books in all categories!! She even created a “Staff picks” section! Haha! Jimmy and Taylor just might be the family cats!! hehe
Guests were scheduled for a visit to Cado’s Bookstore – to make sure social distancing was enforced!! Masks were required of course!
Cupcakes and custom book marks were available for the guests. And guests were encouraged to “shop” and grab what interested them!
The birthday boy loved it and so did the guests! I was bummed we couldn’t make it (living in Missouri now and all)!
The leftover books have been delivered to little libraries in neighborhoods all over Vancouver. So so cool!!!
