Happy Holidays! I hope everyone is recovering well from all the holiday fun! We had a great Christmas at home and with family, our kids were definitely spoiled, but I want to instill in my kids that giving is better than receiving and that you should always be thankful for anything that you receive. As a parent, I have been really good about sending thank you cards after birthdays – but I want to be better about other holidays – especially Christmas!
So because I LOVE printables and wanted to make thank you card writing fun for everyone (me and Olive), I designed some fill-in-the-blank Christmas thank you notes! We got them all filled out and ready to mail this afternoon (while Daddy watched football).
Olive is a pro at writing her name, so I left the namespace blank on hers. She chose what color she wanted to write her name in on each card, a different color for each recipient.
Here is a close-up of the blank card for Olive – or the girly version.
For Vance, since he is 2, I went ahead and printed his name on the card.
After Olive wrote her name on the card, I wrote down who it was to and what she got from them. Then I asked her what she liked about the gift and I wrote down her answer.
We had a nice stack to do and she was pretty excited about it until the last few – but she insisted on sending a thank you to Santa! Such a sweet girl!
I am sure our friends and family will love them!
