This month’s crafty update is a crochet project I finished for my kiddos for Valentine’s day! Chonky Amigurumi Animals!
I got this fun crochet book for Christmas and asked the kids to choose their favorite animals. I ordered the yarn and got to work on these fun and huge cuddly critters. Olive wanted the frog,
and Vance chose the penguin.
I finished them just in time to set them out with some chocolates for Valentine’s day
The yarn is blanket yarn so it’s fuzzy and soft and working with it and a big hook made my hands sore, but they came together relatively quickly.
I made the eyes with black felt and white felt, hot gluing them into place. She includes a template which is so nice.
They make you smile! If you like to crochet, give these Chonky Amigurumi a try – you can find the book HERE on Amazon. Make sure you have a lot of stuffing!
Happy Crafting! Thanks for checking out my crafty update.
