This month’s crafty update is a project I started when we did a road trip to the Florida panhandle over spring break.   I love a car crochet project so I worked on these cute Easter turtles for my kiddos while we drove.

With a 12-hour drive, I made 2 of these little guys and the kids had some fun with them and the dog.

On the way home I made 2 more for my younger sister’s kids.

And then made 3 more for my middle sister’s kiddos.  Such a cute pile o Easter turtles!

The awesome pattern is by All From Jade – you can get the pattern HERE.  It’s a no-sew pattern, meaning you crochet in the legs and head.  Made for an easy and fun road trip pattern.

I sent them to the nieces and nephews for Easter.  I used my free printable from April – the Easter food tents – and turned them into tags. You can find the Easter food tents/tags in the Free Printable Library.
