This month’s crafty update is a quilt I made for my bestie’s daughter before a big surgery. She is a heart warrior who was born with a heart defect and has been such a trooper throughout the years, with the support of her wonderful family and Mom! The amazing girl needed an awesome quilt of course!
I found a pretty line of batik fabrics in her preferred colors and used the Avenue pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew. Simple and modern and perfect for a teen girl. I love the all-over quilting by Trace Creek Quilting, it even looks awesome on the olive batik backing. Love!
