Nov Crafty Update!

November 20, 2023

Yeah, I’ve been making a lot of quilts this year – and I love it!  So, this month’s crafty update is a trio of quilts I gifted to some amazing women.

The first one is a Rose Lemonade quilt I made for my sister-in-law’s birthday.  I used the Wicker pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew.  The fabric is Rose Lemonade from Robert Kaufman Fabrics.  I quilted it at Trace Creek Quilting with the Mackintosh Rose panto, I just love how it turned out!

Next up is a Sparrow quilt I made for my mom’s birthday.  She was in town the month before so we went to the fabric store together to pick out the fabrics.  We went with a blend of whites, blue and green.  The pattern is Sparrows by Pen & Paper Patterns.  I used a blue microfleece backing to make it so cuddly.  I quilted it at TCQ with the Sprig panto.  I love this panto, it’s really simple but makes a big impact.

The last one is a quilt I made for my high school bestie’s birthday.  I found a beautiful fabric line called Sonnet Dusk from Riley Blake and an easy pattern by Sweet Jane called Between the Lines.  I quilted it with a panto called Loop T Loop.

Next month is my last month of crafty updates and it will be a doozy – (I might be working on quilty gifts for Christmas) – so look out for that after everything is gifted!  I am actually curious to count up how many quilts I have made this year!

Thanks again for reading about my crafty adventures this year!
