My daughter’s orchestra director is having his first baby this year and of course, I had to make the little one a quilt!

I found an adorable animal print where all the animals play instruments – violin, piano, cello, etc.  The fabric had panels with cute animal images as well as yardage.  Since I was working with panels, I just winged it and created this super cute baby quilt.

I quilted it at Trace Creek Quilting with the Symphony panto (of course) and backed it with a cozy minky fabric.  Adorbs!

I can’t wait for my daughter to gift this to her teacher at the last concert of the year in a few weeks!  Hopefully, before the baby arrives – I think the little one is due just days after the last concert!
