V turned 12 this month! 12! We actually did a bowling birthday party at a venue vs. our house this year! Here is the invite we emailed to his friends
We went to Bowlero in Chesterfield, MO the weekend before his actual birthday and got the mid-tier party package. I have to say I was impressed. The food was good, the kids got 2 lanes to bowl and arcade cards. Bowlero even decorated with his name in lights!
Of course, I had to make a banner, so I created a bowling birthday party banner in his favorite colors and hung it on the back of the food set up facing the bowling lanes. I apologize for the less-than-stellar pics – the lighting at the bowling alley is not ideal for picture-taking.
I also made favor bags for the kids and added personalized favor tags.
Pretty simple but cute and the kids had a great time.
For his birthday celebration at home – I made a balloon banner with balloons from the dollar store and created a custom printable banner just for him.
Each letter has one of his favorite things on it!
We celebrated just the 4 of us with pizza (Domino’s of course) and cake and ice cream. He requested chocolate chip cake with vanilla buttercream and chocolate ganache. Well, the chocolate ganache drip is something I am awful at so it kind of turned into a marble swirl frosting. I found a chocolate mold for the cat so I decided why not! It tasted great at least!
