Last year I ended up making a lot of gift quilts. If you haven’t seen them check out THIS post! I was able to cover all of the special adults in my life but was short on the kiddos – so this year I am fixing that! January/February I was able to get 2 or the 3 kiddos left checked off the list.
My niece and nephew have birthdays close together at the end of Jan and the beginning of Feb. I was able to get 2 awesome quilts done for them and shipped for their birthdays!
The first one for my niece is this cute Butterfly Garden quilt from Suzy Quilts. I had a fun floral jelly roll that was perfect for the project. I used the new panto Happy Go Lucky available at Trace Creek Quilting and backed it with a cozy light blue microfleece blanket. So cute and so cozy!
The second one is for my nephew, who is a Junior in high school this year and is a talented musician – I found a fun Music note pattern by Refine and Shine Design. I chose the panto Soundwaves available at Trace Creek Quilting and backed it with a cozy navy microfleece blanket.
Love how they turned out and hope they love them too! Only one more kiddo to go!
