Minecraft has been all the rage the past few years and last September I helped a friend throw a fabulous Minecraft birthday party for her son!
It was a fun party! The guests entered the party room through the “Nether Portal”
The room was decorated to the nines!
The birthday banner was at the center of the food/cake table.
The birthday boy’s mom made the coolest background. A Minecraft creeper made with green and black square paper plates!
She also made a cool 3D Minecraft pig, creeper and ghost thing (sorry I do not know the characters).
I helped with the TNT boxes
They all really added to the feel of the party!
Along with the fun dressed up water bottles, we had cool Minecraft treats
The Rice Krispie Blocks were a hit with the kids
as well as the blue jello “water” and TNT licorice sticks!
of course grapes are always better if you call them slime balls!
For games, we did a “Build your Minecraft self” with post it note squares.
Only a few kids did this craft but it turned out cute.
The biggest hit was the lego table filled with Minecraft legos! So many creations were made.
The cupcake cake was in the shape of a Minecraft sword
The kids loved all the yummy treats along with their pizza!
The last activity was the TNT piñata! Always a good time with a piñata! I think she found it online, as well as the TNT red balloons.
Great shot by the Birthday boy!
All of the kiddos got their own creeper shirt and Minecraft weapon.
They all had a blast! You can find the Minecraft printables – banner, squares, water bottle labels, favor tags, welcome sign and food tents in my shop! Thanks for checking out the party!
