My baby girl turned 13 last weekend! Officially a teenager!
She loves everything about plants and succulents so I knew a Cactus-themed birthday party was perfect, so I designed this cactus birthday set months ago with O in mind!
The weather forecast for the weekend looked good so we planned to have her party on our new deck. The welcome sign led the guests directly to the backyard.
The deck was fun to decorate!
The balloon banner was a kit I found at Target months ago – they had a whole line of cactus-themed party stuff so I had to get it of course!
Under the balloon banner was the personalized printable cactus birthday banner and the table was filled with junk food for teens! Some of Olive’s favorite snacks!

The water bottles were dressed and served cold in our cool outdoor cooler, along with ICE drinks – O’s favorite.
The plan for the party was just to let the girls hang out – maybe go to the pool (they did for a little bit). I had one activity they could do – decorate a pot with fun vinyl stickers.
The girls all went home with their decorated pot and a cute little succulent to go in it! Dressed up with party circles and favor tags.
The cake was made by GiGi B’s Sweet Temptations – the same baker we have used in the past. It was cute and of course yummy!
Olive had fun and so did Chip! He loved all the attention from a bunch of 13-year-old girls!
Have a cactus/succulent fan like my girl – you can get all of the printables shown in my shop! Thanks for letting me share my teen’s birthday celebration!
