Today I wanted to show you what I think are the best Party store finds!
Here are the must gets from the party store when planning a party!
Plastic tablecloths
These are inexpensive and are nice quality for a plastic tablecloth. They come in so many colors, so you are bound to find one that works! The work for table covers and banner backdrops! Check out my backdrop tutorial here!
Solid color plates, napkins, and cups
The solid color (or simple designs) plates, napkins, and cups are generally cheaper and are sold in larger quantities than the themed versions. I like to get these pieces in a matching solid color. Pulling colors from the printables to coordinate (like in the picture below).
If you are using a commercially available party theme, it’s fun to grab the small plates and use those for dessert. But you can never go wrong with solid colors.
Balloons
If you want balloons with helium, the party store is the place to go! They also have a nice selection of balloon colors that you can buy in packages if you have a balloon pump and want to make something fancy, like a balloon arch or column.
I love to get a fun mylar balloon for my kiddos and leave it in their room the night before their birthday. And since mylar lasts so long – you can use it party decoration too!
Themed favors
If the theme your kiddo has chosen has a section at the party store – I think it’s great to pick up a few things for the favors. Pencils, tattoos, or whatever you think the kiddos would like.
Themed extras
If the theme you are using has a few fun extra decorations, those are fun to grab as well. For my son’s Mario Odyssey party – I grabbed a themed banner that coordinated well with the personalized printable banner that I designed. It just added more to the décor!
I seriously could roam a party store for hours! The party store finds (especially the first 3) are essential, in my opinion, and having some on hand would be helpful for any last-minute get-together as well as fully planned parties!
