Lilo, my boss at Trace Creek Quilting just released her 4th quilt pattern (one of them you can get Free by signing up for her mailing list at the bottom of her home page HERE) and I was lucky enough to make one of her samples in partnership with Global Fiber Shop! It’s the Almost Plaid Quilt and is the coolest quilt top.
Lilo has a knack for making simple pieces come together to look cool and complicated!
The colors are so fun and cheerful – perfect for springtime! Global Fiber Shop pulled these amazing AGF solids and gorgeous Rifle Paper floral for the backing and binding.
Lilo quilted it with the Saffron Blossoms panto.
Her patterns are written with all levels of quilters in mind and she gives you so much detail. I love her use of graphics and charts. All of these beautiful pictures of my Almost Plaid quilt are by Angela Armstrong Creative who works with Lilo to offer quilt photography – read more at Trace Creek Quilting!
With the new Almost Plaid Quilt pattern, I have made 3 of her 4 patterns.
Welcome Party – I made a Christmas version and gifted it to my baby sister.
And Corner Booth – I made a Christmas version in a lap size for myself!
TCQ’s 4th pattern, Beach Party, is a free pattern (free pattern may change in the future) for signing up for her newsletter.
Almost Plaid is a great quilt pattern to have in your library! It was so much fun to make. Grab your copy of Almost Plaid today at Trace Creek Quilting! And if you love my version, you can get the quilt kit at Global Fiber Shop to make a fun spring version for yourself!
