I know there are so many ideas out there for your Elf on the Shelf and while some people struggle to remember to move the darn thing other people put in huge effort to have the kids catch their elf in funny situations.
A friend of mine even cut her own hair and blamed it on the elf! Now that’s dedication.
The most fun we had with our Elf was in 2019 (pre-pandemic) I created an epic family advent adventure brought to us by our Elf!! It was so much fun! Here is the post about our adventure.
No matter which way you want to go this year – all the way or just the bare minimum.
Here are some Elf on the Shelf tips (and reminders) to keep the fun alive this season!
- Plan out what you want to do – some days something funny, some days just move
- Set up calendar reminders to move the elf or set up the display
- Enlist the help of older kiddos – have them plan the setups or where to move the elf each day.
