Mermaids are still a popular theme for little girls. We threw a mermaid birthday party for O’s 6th birthday! At the time we lived near a lake and the neighborhood has a cute little beach park, so we threw the party there! The view was awesome and we even got to play in the sand. It was so much fun!
The printable invite was pretty cute, I call them bubble mermaids.
Personalized welcome sign welcoming the mer-girls and boys.
The backdrop was a little harder to create, being that we were outside and I was working with a chainlink fence. But I managed to get the banner hung up with the paper lantern jellyfish I made. I also created fish out of paper plates!
Personalized water bottle labels to dress up the drinks
Personalized party circles turned into toppers decorated the food.
Food tents to help with the choices of muffins, cookies, pirate booty and other yummy snacks.
Favors are always my favorite part! I made the cutest mermaid tail bags for the girls, filled with fun under the sea things and did buckets for the boys. Each were tied up with a personalized favor tags matching all of the printables.
I made the birthday girl a special shell crown and mermaid tail skirt – which was a tad tight – oops! Little brother got a pirate outfit for the occasion.
