Our little thrill seeker all dressed up!

May 14, 2014

Yay! Finally getting pics of Mr. V at Disneyland all dressed up!  So I ended up making V 5 pairs of pants for Disneyland – you can see the original posts HERE and HERE.  But he only ended up wearing 3 on vacation.  I didn’t think it would be as HOT as it was in Disneyland, so he ended up wearing shorts a few days (one mommy made pair I made last summer).  I guess I should have made them shorts vs. pants – oh well!

Our first day at California Adventure – where Cars Land is – he was decked out in Cars head to toe!  A cast member with Lightning McQueen actually asked if I made the pants and said he wanted a pair – so sweet!

Here is V showing off his new Guido and Luigi dressed up as C3PO and R2D2.

brown pants on v This is the only decent shot I got of him in his brown chevron pants with the Mater t-shirt.  He was driving Mater Vader along the wall while we waited for the Winnie the Pooh ride!

We did find out on this trip that our little man is a thrill seeker!  He LOVED all of the rides, it was just a bummer that he couldn’t ride them all.  He was maybe 1/2″ too short!  Oh well next time!  Daddy is excited to have a riding buddy – since Miss O was not as into the rides (more like not into the lines).

red pants on v Here he is in the red pants with racing flag knee pads.  They were playing and jumping around while we waited for Daddy to get off of Thunder Mtn Railroad.

A bit of sad news – we lost his cute car bucket hat!!!  I blogged about it HERE.  I am so bummed.  We filed a claim with Disneyland lost and found but it didn’t show up while we were there.  If they happen to find it, they will send it to us, but I think another little boy has a cute new hat!

The trip was so much fun – Mr. Ro is actually talking about when we will be going again!  Wonder what I can make for that trip! =)
